![]() ![]() So I'm thinking it could mean charging port. Back in the day I bought a USB 3.0 PCIe card that had a front panel connector too, and I was hoping to find one with USB C but so far I can only find a USB C PCIe card that has two USB C ports on it, and no front panel connector for the SUB C cable. I just made a big mistake, I thought the one USB port said USB 2.0, but after looking really close it turns out it says USB with a battery symbol behind the word USB, what I thought said 2.0 was just 2 bars on the battery symbol. ![]() Looks like a good solution, on problem is their is only one expansion bay, and it's occupied by the DVD drive. What could be happening here is that your usb 3 ports and usb 2 ports are together beause one is not blue but still has the 9 pins inside, so there is really only one cable and is just a weird model of case you have here The only converter as i mentioned is from usb 3 to usb 2, but convert form 3 to 3 and 2, haven't seen something like that I haven't seen such cable other than a weird mod, if it is the case, then perhaps you could need to skip that part and just buy a front usb bay, like this one ![]() Was also looking at this one too, it doesn't require a power connector, but am trying to keep the price under $15, since I just bought a graphics card. PCI Express USB 3 Card Adapter 3.5inch Front Panel Expansion Bay for PC Computer. My PSU actually has a Molex connector plus SATA connector. This one is identical to the one you posted but is a bit better brand Just for the extra usb ports, it uses instead of molex a power sata connector If usb port availability is my concern, i would get this one The front usb 3 conenctor is there but is only 4 usb 3.0 ports from it Interesting, it asks for a molex connector ![]()
